A from-scratch browser arena game (original art and logic, no borrowed assets) built mostly as a fun systems problem: how good can the bots get?

The build

A player tank with mouse aim, movement, shooting, XP, score, and an upgrade tree. Shapes to farm, a minimap, a leaderboard, high-score persistence, and a bot-only brawl mode. It runs on plain Canvas 2D with a capped pixel ratio and throttled HUD updates so it stays smooth on weak hardware.

The interesting part

The bots roam, target shapes and players, shoot, strafe, level up, spend upgrade points, and respawn, each a small state machine that makes the arena feel alive with nobody else online. It's a public, playable prototype, which makes it an easy thing to just click and try.
