We use AI across most of our work, and we are deliberate about its footprint.
Local first: if a model can run on our own hardware, it does. Most of our day-to-day inference never touches a cloud data center. When a job genuinely needs more than our machines can give, we send it to providers that at least match their power use with renewables, and we pick the cleaner option whenever there is one.
This isn't a policy we wrote to look good. Being green is baked into how we scope every project, right behind "does it work" and "is it worth building." If there's a feasible way to do something cleaner, we take it.
And every project we build is carbon negative. We grew up in the country. Conservation was part of life long before it was a talking point, and it will be long after. We hold the company to that standard because it's how we were raised, not because it looks good on a website.
